چکیده

Content collaboration – Interaction concepts for collaboration in web content management systems The use of internet as the main channel of communication for organizations has made the systems that support it, the web content management systems, essential. The main purpose of these systems is to make it easy and efficient to create and manage articles. In this thesis, the purpose is to study how site editors and content creators collaborate about content in web content management systems and if it is possible to improve their work. By using exploratory methods in the field, three different types of editorial staffs were identified. In the field studies, several collaborative activities related to managing articles in the web content management system were observed. The different concepts were developed to simplify one or several of these activities. They were realized and developed as low-fidelity prototypes. Better collaboration support in web content management systems is likely to facilitate the management of articles. The conclusion is threefold. Better support for awareness of content activity, better integration with external collaborative systems and making collaborative features customizable to support different types of editorial staffs are the most important guidelines.
